Very cute graphics and lovely gameplay. If you plan future iterations, I would design the beginning of the level way easier, to first make the player understand how the game works, before it starts getting challenging. F.e. leave out the gaps for later instead of throwing it in just right after the start (good example is super mario, where the first level has only 2 small gaps in the middle of the level that are very easy to cross.
I would maybe start with the colour change like 3-4 times, then introduce a small gap and then introduce double jump gaps.
Just an idea :)
Thanks for the feedback :) Thought about introductory level, too. That would improve the difficulty curve in the beginning a lot.
